Build-A-Bear!

For Boo's birthday we decided to let him Build A Bear because he loves stuffed animals so much. Here are the pictures from that fun event!

When we first got to the store, he was so overwhelmed with everything in there. He found this stroller with a bear in it and pushed it all around the store!

Boo is Two!

Happy Birthday Boo! Mama is really late in getting out this post for your birthday, but better late than never! We don't have any pics from your big day because our camera was dead and Lolli's camera has all the pictures. But once I get a copy I will post the awesome time we had celebrating your special day! We are so amazed how fast you are growing up. You turned two and you became a new little person overnight! You constantly make us smile and laugh. You are such a joy to be around; although, you have started making your wishes known. You love your baby brother. You have made him a nickname ~ Dyn Dyn. You will hear Dyn Dyn crying after bed or a nap and you will run back to his room, open the door, and ever so sweetly say "Hi Dyn Dyn!" It is the sweetest thing ever! You are starting to learn to share your toys with him, but you sometimes think everything is only yours. I am sure you will get better the more we practice. :) You love to help me "cook" and you will pull up a chair just to stand next to me. You also love to play outside doing anything! We have been running and you LOVE to go for a run. Anytime I get my running shoes or my watch you start getting really excited saying, "Run! Run!" You have started using your two-three word sentences and we are so proud. At one point we thought you would never talk! This is only part of the great things you are up to, and I could go on forever. Boo you are so sweet and special to us. We love you more than you'll ever know! Happy Birthday baby boy. We can't believe you're TWO!

Six Months

At 6 months Dylan is:

*Weighing 18 lbs. 3 oz.

*Measuring 27 1/2 inches tall

*Wearing size 3 diapers

*Wearing 6-9 month clothes and onesies

*Nursing 4-5 times per day

*Starting to eat cereal (finally!) and just tried peas yesterday = success!

*Napping two times per day - once in the am for about an hour and a longer one in the pm

*Sitting up really well!

*Starting to get onto his knees and rocking

*Inching his way around the living room on his belly

*Sleep from 7pm to about 7am, but has started waking once or twice a night. He usually gets one feeding because he is sooo upset!

*Trying to get some teeth...at least I hope so.

*The joy of our lives! We love what each day brings and we often sit looking at Dylan saying isn't he so perfect! We love you Dylan!

Pumpkin Patch 10-5-10

We went to the pumpkin patch with Mrs. Linda (our neighbor) one morning, and we had a great time. We were the only ones there, so we got the royal treatment. The people who run the pumpkin patch have a little girl who will be three in February named Maybree. She loved showing James around. I think he was more adventurous because she was showing him how to do everything like feed the animals. We could not get James to smile, but I know he had a great time. He seems to be entering this phase if we tell him to smile he will look away from us on purpose! But nonetheless here are some pictures of our fun time.

Five Months Already?!

Another month has come and gone and I am in disbelief! Dylan is getting so big! Here is what he is up to nowadays:

*Weighs about 18 lbs.

*About 27 inches long

*Nurses every 3-4 hrs during the day

*Has been waking up two or more times at night to feed (which is really wearing me out!) Hopefully this will end soon...

*Goes to be around 7:30 pm and wakes up around 7:30 or 8:00am

*Rolls over both directions

*Pushes himself up very high with hands to look around when on his tummy

*Tries to inch forward but ends up going back when trying to get something

*Has been trying rice cereal but absolutely does not like it! He will gag and throw up if I put any in his mouth. It doesn't matter if it is really thick or thin. We will keep trying though...

*Watches big brother all the time! I think he is so ready to move like brother.

*Wears size three diapers

*3-6 month clothes are getting snug and 6 month outfits are too little. I guess it is time to start 6-9 months already!!!

Pickle ~ you are more and more fun each day! You are learning so much and love to play with Mama and James on the floor. You are definitely a Mama's boy! You will cry at night when Daddy holds you while I tuck Boo into bed. But once I pick you up you stop crying. We are now making you spend more and more time with Daddy and others so you will be able to handle not being with Mama. We love you so much and are amazed at the beautiful baby God has blessed us with.
