These are some pictures to hold everyone over until we get home. We are all doing very well. Dylan Allen was born April 13, 2010 at 2:04 am. He weighed 8 lbs. 1 oz. and is 20 inches long. I will write about our eventful night soon. We should be discharged tomorrow morning.

Easter 2010

We had a great Easter! We had some family come into town for Easter, and they were on standby just in case the baby decided to come. We spent the whole weekend playing with James and enjoying each other's company. We took a walk to the park, and we had a fun Easter egg hunt for James in the backyard. Here are some of our pictures from Easter.

Here is what the Easter Bunny left James ~ Little Tikes Golf Set, monkey pillow, big ball, peeps, bibs, and bubbles! Wow! This Easter Bunny was a little crazy! ;)

Pawpaw and Nana even gave him a present ~ Pound a Peg, an adorable bunny, and a ducky that flashes when you push the ball inside.

Even though baby Brother decided not to show this weekend, we had a great time and we are officially ready and waiting on our newest edition! Nine days or less!

Easter Egg Hunt

We had an Easter Egg Hunt last night at church for all the children, and we had such a great time! Here are some pictures of all the excitement!

Daddy and James were listening to the instructions and waiting to get some eggs!

We walked outside and James just took in all the other children until....

He spotted his first egg! After that he had no trouble running around picking up eggs.

Sometimes James would run away from all the eggs on accident, but Daddy would point out some eggs and James would boogey over there! It was too cute to watch them find eggs!

Here James and his little friend, Judd are picking up eggs together and trying to give each other their eggs! It was really cute to see them sharing. The older kids at church walked around and strategically placed eggs for the little ones and this was one spot where they left about ten eggs!

I love how he is excited and running back to his basket here!

Mommy is trying to keep James away from some one's forgotten eggs. James saw this as the perfect opportunity to pick up some more eggs!

Mommy was telling James to look at the camera, but little did she know he was and she wasn't! Silly Mama!

We sat down to admire our eggs and every time he would smile at his eggs they would be over his face! So, he had a great time we just couldn't capture the smile!

His favorite egg is a yellow egg with blue butterflies. He found this egg without any candy in it, and he loved to try to open and close it all night!

We decided to walk back over to see what Judd was doing.

The two boys carrying their own Easter baskets. They did NOT want anyone else carrying them. I think they were really proud of all their hard work.

Daddy put James in the bounce around thing, and I think he would have enjoyed it, but there were too many big kids. He kept getting smooshed.

Oh! The cookie after dinner...he was chewing it like a fish and I thought this picture captured that! He ate about 1/4 of the cookie and decided he didn't want that anymore. I think it was too sweet!

Then he wanted to look at his eggs...and try to eat those too!

Daddy held James on a big inflatable thing and bounced him around - James had a blast!

Well, that was our fun-filled evening last night. I think we are going to hide some Easter eggs outside Sunday just to see him do it again! It was too cute, and I know he really enjoyed it. Hopefully we will get a family picture on Easter and we can post then. Enjoy your weekend!
